How long are sessions?
Typical sessions are 45-50 minutes in length but can range up to 90 minutes.

How many sessions will this take?
This is a common question with a common non-answer: it varies. The length of therapy depends on a couple of factors, such as the nature of the work, the goals established, and the motivation of the client. Therapy can range from several sessions to several years, based on progress, preference, and dynamic.

Will you tell me what my child tells you?
Generally speaking, no, but there are legal exceptions related to the safety of self and others. Every client has the right to confidentiality. I can at times communicate the salient skills to reinforce with your child; however, the substance of our sessions will remain part of the therapeutic relationship. Alternatively, you may be invited into a session when permitted by the client themselves.

How much does it cost?
My session rate is comparable with psychotherapist fees in the area. Please contact me to inquire about specifics.

Do you take insurance?
No, I do not currently accept insurance. However, I am able provide you with a "super-bill" that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check, and credit card. I use an online platform to process credit card payments which also offers an 'automatic-pay' functionality to make the transactions more fluid.
