ABOUT SARA

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (Lic. 86609) and Registered Art Therapist offering psychotherapy services to children, teens, and adults who present with emotional, intellectual, or interpersonal needs that can benefit from support and guidance.

My approach is warm and non-judgmental. I will work compassionately to know you or your child in order to incite change, relief, and acceptance. You will find me genuine and easy to talk to about anything and everything.

My experience lends itself to a unique approach that balances the logical left brain through behavior theory, and the creative right brain through art therapy and metaphor. Seeing both of these perspectives helps me to hold objective data while also considering the nuances and the uniqueness of every individual.
EXPERIENCE
I began my career working with adolescents in an Intensive Outpatient Program and cultivated an understanding of the challenges adolescence can bring. I have also worked with young adults who have struggled with finding their path or place in their world.

I have worked primarily as a behavior specialist, working with children, teens and families who are struggling with behavioral or mental health challenges at school or in the home. Having worked within school districts for the past 8 years, I am well versed in Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, and Behavior Support Plans. I have been passionate about helping individuals with Autism navigate their way in the world.
